assemble
10 minutes prep time
- Bring 350 ml of water to a rolling boil in a pot and add in pearls
- Cook the pearls over a medium flame for 5-7 minutes with the lid on
- If cooking Classic Black Tapioca Pearls, (optional) scoop out and drain the Classic Tapioca Pearls once they’ve reached your desired softness. Soak the pearls in 2 tbs of Brown Sugar/Brown Sugar Syrup and stir until dissolved. (We highly recommend this step because it adds an extra layer of caramelised flavour to the pearls making them irresistibly delicious!).
- If cooking Rainbow Tapioca Pearls, (optional) scoop out and drain the Rainbow Tapioca Pearls once they’ve reached your desired softness. Soak the pearls in 2 tbs of honey or Fructose Syrup. (This is one of our favourite ways of preparing Rainbow Tapioca Pearls as it gives the bubble tea an extra layer of sweetness!)
- Serve with your favourite bubble tea
we love this warm and squishy in both warm and cold teas!
